Gary Waanders

Dr. Waanders joined AC Immune in November 2021 as Head of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications. Prior to AC Immune, he was Head of Investor Relations at Medigene (Munich, Germany) and before that he worked as an analyst for a number of Investment Banks including KBC, Peel Hunt, and Nomura Code Securities, based in London from 2001 until 2019.   He was previously a research team leader for a startup in Canada and a postdoctoral fellow for 6 years at the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research (Lausanne). He holds an MBA from the University of Durham Business School (UK) and a PhD in Immunology from Monash University (Australia).
